About the Doctor

Dr. Dwayne Patritto

Dr. Dwayne Patritto is an orthodontist with offices in Ottumwa and Oskaloosa who specializes in providing excellent orthodontic treatment for adolescents and adults.

He graduated from the University of Minnesota School or Dentistry in 1987 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree followed by a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics in 1990. He then joined Dr. Delbert Donovan, who had practiced in Ottumwa since 1959. Dr. Patrltto is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Iowa Society of Orthodontists.

In addition to his involvement in national organizations, Dr. Patrltto is also actively involved in coaching local sports, especially basketball. Patritto Orthodontics is the sole 2007-2008 sponsor of the Ottumwa Future Basketball teams in which his daughter Darby participates. He also coaches and sponsors his son Dillon’s traveling basketball team, Ottumwa Fire.

Dr. Patritto’s latest involvement is starting the Patritto Orthodontic Scholarship program that awards ten $500 scholarships each year to graduating seniors with plans for further education.
