About the Doctor

Dwayne Patritto DDS, MS

Dr. Dwayne Patritto graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1987 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree followed by a Master of Science degree and a specialty certificate in Orthodontics in 1990. He then joined Dr. Delbert Donovan, who had practiced in Ottumwa since 1959. Dr. Patritto is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Iowa Society of Orthodontists and the Iowa Dental Society.

Dr. Patritto enjoys spending time with his wife Ruth and their children, Darby and Dillon. You may find him golfing, running or watching high school sporting events. He also enjoys relaxing with family and friends at the lake and enjoys spending time on his tree farm.

The Patritto Orthodontic Scholarship Program was started in 2008. It awards ten (or more) $500 scholarships each year to graduating seniors with plans to further their education. “I get so many good applicants it is very difficult to make selections. It is very time consuming but I feel fortunate to be able to read the essays. They are very educational and refreshing.”
